The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing all vendor bills accurately and promptly, working closely with management on allocations and approvals. The Accounts Payable Specialist works with vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency in transactions; and works with the Controller to ensure bills are paid promptly and vendor records are complete in our finance software.

You'll be a great fit if:

• Associate's Degree preferred; a Bachelor's degree highly desirable; a combination of continued education beyond high school and relevant work experience may be substituted.
• 2-4 years of bookkeeping/accounting work experience are required.
• Knowledge of full-cycle accounting, period closing processes, and fund accounting is desirable.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with NetSuite financial software is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing responsibilities within deadlines, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Ability to build and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with other employees.
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Compensation details: 26.7-28.7 Hourly Wage
