Accounts Payable Specialist

Payrate: $36/hr

Temp-to-Hire

On-Site 3 days per week in San Leandro, CA (to include Tue and Wed)

Remote 2 days per week

Weekly Pay and Benefits

Responsibilities:

Analyze, verify & process invoices and/or check requests in a timely manner

Ensure proper routing, coding & approval

Timely data entry for month-end closing

Account reconciliations

Pay vendors in accordance with company policy & vendor terms

Audit payment run details to ensure accuracy of payments

Maintain exceptional relationships with vendors & company personnel

Prepare accrual doc at month end for GL to review

Goods receipt vs Invoice receipt reconciliation

Accounts Payable aging review

Open deposit review/clearing

Purchase price variance review

Assist w/ management & auditor requests

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in AP a must

PO/3-way match experience a must

Some general ledger and/or accounting knowledge a must

oPrepaids

oAccruals

Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

Excellent interpersonal skills

Able to maintain confidentiality

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

Ability to multitask effectively

Proficiency in Excel with the ability to sort data and maintain spreadsheets with large data

SAP experience highly preferred
