YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing Accounts Payable invoices for assigned suppliers timely and accurately.This position will also resolve problems with incorrect/incomplete invoices by contacting the appropriate internal personnel and/or the supplier. The Accounts Payable Clerk should be able to meet established deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate should work well within a team-like atmosphere and be able to interact daily with all levels of the company's workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS
- Process daily high-volume of invoices in the JD Edwards AP system.
- Matching of invoices to relevant documents.
- Handling the organization and filing of payment supports.
- Regularly proof voucher batches and research and resolve supplier inquiries.
- Processing and filing invoice payments.
- Verifying approvals and account coding.
- Comply with AP policies.
- Ability to follow up on missing information.
- Collaborate with other individuals in the company to ensure invoices are complete and accurate.

REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or higher degree in accounting/finance preferred.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or related work experience preferred.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and has experience prioritizing multiple tasks.
- WORD, Excel, Outlook, 10 key and typing.
