Why This Job – Accounts Payable Specialist:
Work in a cool, casual office in the heart of downtown Denver! If you recently graduated with an Accounting degree (or Business or Finance) and are looking for the chance to grow your accounting career, this could be a wonderful opportunity for you.
What You’ll Actually Do:
- Responsible for entry and payment of invoices for approximately 100+ properties
- AP for the Property Accounting team
- Set up new vendors and obtain up-to-date W9s, posting payments to tenant ledgers, depositing checks, mailing monthly rent statements, processing bi-weekly check runs
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- A Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred, Finance or Business degree OK too)
- An accounting focused internship or 1 to 2 years accounting experience (AP not required)
- To be highly motivated and eager to learn and perform new tasks
- Strong communication skills
- High level of integrity, driven, and eager to learn
- Strong Excel skills
It Would Be Brilliant If You Also Have:
- Exposure to Property accounting or Property AP experience
- Experience with accounting software
Where and How Much:
- $55K to $57K, 10% bonus
- Benefits/PTO: 401K with match
- Location: Downtown Denver (Hybrid Schedule, 3 days in-office)
