Accounting/Data Entry Clerk - Full Time

Essential Functions

Operations Support

• Post weekly Sales per store in Accounting System
• Post invoices from vendors and/or any vendor related to COGs in accounting system
• Maintain all store licenses
• New Opening Store Business License
• Maintain monthly statistical reports such as discounts, gift cards, etc.
• Order office supplies for stores as requests come in
• Responsible for special projects and reporting assigned by President

Accounting Support

• Enter daily cash deposits from various bank accounts and balance with accounting system and follow-up with stores incase of no drop offs.
• Enter daily credit card deposits from various bank accounts and balance with accounting system.
• Enter weekly uber and Door dash entries.
• Maintain change orders per store, verify for accuracy by performing cash audits to stores and provide support to stores with Safe’s operational issues.
• Weekly petty cash transactions from Point of Sale system into the accounting system, prepare monthly report for expense usage per store.
• Identify and post any ACH bank transactions in Accounting System for expenses such as merchant fees, bank charges etc.
• Post weekly payouts from stores.
• File monthly sales tax per store and keep track of paid invoices without sales tax/new cones/equipment purchases without sales tax.
• Monthly journal entry inventory posting for uniforms.
• Other duties as assigned.
• File paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associates degree or higher in Accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Accounting software experience a plus
• ADP experience a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
