**CBP TIER 5 CLEARANCE OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED**
Seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) Data Entry specialists to support the US Customs and Border Patrol efforts to process migrants, non-citizens, and individuals seeking asylum in the US. The applicant will:
- Communicate in Spanish with migrants, non-citizens, and individuals seeking asylum in the US, and assess eligibility for entrance into the country based on paperwork, system information, and direct interview.
- Conduct record checks such as NCIC, TECS, IBIS, etc.
- Perform general Data Entry tasks in English and Spanish in DHS and CBP systems.
- Handle sensitive and private information, organize federal court dates, and gather necessary information for filing.
- Inventory, tag, and store personal property for tracking purposes.
- Draft and maintain administrative paperwork and reports related to property, transportation, and immigration documentation.
- Assist with receiving and processing title 42 and title 8 and custody of asylees.
- Log the status of welfare checks of occupants, visual inspections of temporary holding areas, and input information into the appropriate processing system.
