Accounting/Billing Clerk

Bob Tyler Toyota, on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida, is looking for a trustworthy and dependable Accounting Clerk to process and manage the company’s accounting transactions. The Accounting Clerk is responsible to assist with the accounting of business transactions on a day-to-day, month-to-month basis. You will verify, allocate and posts transactions into proper journals and ensures transaction back-up documents are properly maintained. The Accounting Clerk maintains an adequate system of accounting records by scanning all important documents into database. The ideal Accounting Clerk will have at least one year experience in a position of similar responsibility. This is an entry level position with lots of room to grow!

Responsibilities

• Review each deal for completion & accuracy of all paperwork
• Log and send all contracts to the bank for funding
• Work with the Finance Managers to ensure timely funding
• Post and finalize all retail deals & dealer trades
• Verify and Payoff Trade-in vehicles
• Submit rebate paperwork to the manufacturer and follow-through on pending items
• Responsible for We-Owe, Rebate, Contract-in-Transit, and Down Payment schedule reconciliation
• Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record-keeping
• Provides administrative assistance as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• Auto Dealership experience preferred, but not required
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with automotive dealership software a plus (e.g. Dealertrack, CDK, R&R)
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
