We aren’t an old-school accounting firm, and we don’t want an old-school bookkeeper. Yes, we do some of the normal accounting calculation and tax form things that are necessary, but... What we need is an Accounting Services Advisor that is:
An innovating problem solver. A hero that solves our clients needs.
This individual will specialize in helping its clients by:
- Managing client relationships through our recurring accounting services program
- Analyzing client financial records and situations to develop recommendations
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations, loan balances and payments, assets and depreciation
- Process end of year journal entries and 1099’s
- Teaching and training clients on complex accounting concepts as well as be able to train clients on QuickBooks Online
- Performing research as required
- Creating new processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency of team
- Developing cheat sheets, training classes, and other resources to help your peers build their skills
- Preparing the occasional personal and/or business tax return in support of your clients
- Identifying and implement opportunities for growing in ways we had not considered before
- Sharing your knowledge ad help develop less experienced peers
- Bringing positivity and excitement to each new project, opportunity, or venture, and
- Growing professionally and personally all along the way
In order to be successful, our new superstar needs the following traits & skills (AKA “Required Skills”):
- 5+ year of public accounting experience
- QuickBooks Online Pro Certified
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about problem solving and helping others
- Possesses a strong working understanding of tax & accounting rules & regulations
- Passionate about continuous and lifelong learning,
- Effective at learning new technology and software
- Accountability and reliability
- Strong customer service skills
- Process orientation
- Flexible enough to roll with the changes that come with growth
- Excellent at communicating with management, staff, AND clients
- Embraces equality & inclusiveness,
- Proficiency with MS Office Tools such as Excel and Word,
- Insistence on confidentiality for sensitive information
- Someone that wants a career... not a job.
Other things that will really make you look awesome include (AKA “Desired Skills”):
- BA in Accounting or Business
- Expertise in understanding Individual Income Taxation,
- Expertise in understanding Partnership Taxation,
- Expertise in understanding Corporate Taxation (S Corp and C Corp),
- Expertise in understanding Trust and Estate Taxation,
- Expertise in understanding Securities and Investments,
- Aptitude for explaining complex bookkeeping concepts to non-bookkeepers
- Experience supporting medical professionals or medical office clients
- Experience supporting real estate investor clients
- Experience supporting business owner clients
- Experience working in startups or similar fast paced environments

Salary: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
