University Business Administrators - College of Business
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for budgetary activities within the College of Business providing financial management, reporting, and oversight of Sponsored Research Projects, FSU Foundation, and FSU Research Foundation operations at the College of Business (COB).
* Responsible for budgetary activities within the College of Business providing financial information, monitoring, analyzing, verification, reporting and oversight of Sponsored Research projects, FSU Foundation funds and FSU Research Foundation projects. Serves as back up to E&G and Auxiliary funds.
* Originates travel and expense reimbursements, payments to vendors through ePRF and purchase orders. Manages, coordinates and processes scholarships for the College of Business. Coordinates the review and approval process for College of Business event contracts and inputs into the Contract Management System.
* Communicates and interprets University polices and procedures with the appropriate deans, directors, department chairs, faculty and staff. Assists in developing controls to ensure compliance with the University policies and procedures.
* Liaison to Sponsored Research for the creation of all new projects processed at the College of Business. Contact for all pre award and post award inquires. Serves as pcard proxy and completes monthly pcard reconciliations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

ordinances, rules and regulations.
* Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies,
procedures, principles, and practices.
* Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
* Knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.
* Knowledge of and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting, budgeting, and
cost control procedures.
