Job Summary
We are looking for a detail oriented individual to fill the role of Accounting Specialist within our Accounting Department. This person would be responsible for a wide variety of accounting-related tasks that are primarily associated with updating and preparing financial records.
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting and HR department.
Posting accounts payables invoices
Record employee expense reports and Corporate AMEX in accounting system.
Prepare program financial reports (ledgers) for monthly job closing deadlines.
Manage shared outlook mailbox.
Assistance with check run process.
Filing
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
2-year degree, accounting related preferred.
Accounting: minimum 1 year.
Strong proficiency in Excel is a Must.
Proficiency in Sage is preferred.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Detail oriented.
Positive attitude and team player.
Willingness for ongoing training.
Physical Requirements:
Commuting to CSI office in Haines City.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Company laptop will be provided.
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without Visa support
