The position requires experience in accounts payable, job costing, and accounts receivable, as well as experience with accounting software. The individual will be responsible for organizing billing, collecting invoices, job costing, data entry, credit card reconciliations and billbacks, cash and accrual accounting and various reconciliations. Job Duties•Handle and process all aspects of company payables, including coding, job costing (construction), contract monitoring and check remittance•Review and manage G702/G703 pay applications from subcontractors •Credit card review, reconciliation, and billings•Accounts receivable recording and recognition upon collection•Assist in preparation of company financial reporting requirements•Prepare and enter journal entries related to accounts payable, revenue recognition, job costing, etc.•Assist in preparation of monthly close and related journal entries•Manage and monitor accounts payable software and emails related to payment remittanceQualifications and Requirements•Associates Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience •Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction accounts payable accounting required•Minimum of 2 years’ experience using Sage 300, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software required•Minimum of 2 years’ experience with G702/G703 pay applications and job costing required•Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software•Adaptability for introduction and implementation of new software and systems/templates for operational improvement and efficiency•High degree of customer service and communication skills.
