Accounting Specialist

Cadence Care Network has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist.

The Accounting Specialist responsibilities include:

· Process and maintain accounts payable according to agency policy.

· Process and maintain accounts receivable according to agency policy including billing, posting receipts, deposits, and collections.

· Processing of payments through SACWIS system for foster care.

· Reconciliation of bank statements.

· Utilize current software in preparation of accounts receivable and payable for foster parent and county reimbursements.

· Assist CFO in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.

· Process monthly billing, as well as loading paycards, maintaining all financial records for clients in specific programs.

· Remain current on accounting procedures and attend training, as necessary.

The Accounting Specialist requirements are:

· Minimum of associate degree in accounting

· 2 years’ experience in the accounting field.

· Highly organized and skilled in financial software systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
