We are delighted to partner up with a leading Investment firm, on their search for a Accounting and Office Manager. This is a great role for someone who wants to be part of a high growth and well established investment management firm located in Scottsdale. The right candidate for this role would have a perfect mix of core accounting experience, along side being able to perform Office/ EA tasks for leadership team and wider office.
Who you are:
- 5+ years Experience in administrative assistance and or office administration.
- Competent Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles with QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Able to produce reports, necessary for accountants to complete quarterly year-end reports.
- Understands financial oversight procedures (purchase orders, record keeping, etc.)
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
Accounting
- Organize, implement, and maintain all accounting procedures and tasks, including writing checks, entering data into QuickBooks, generating financial reports, etc.
- Ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner, maintain relations with vendors.
- Maintain financial files and records of all financial transactions.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Provide technical support and advice on Management accountant.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and, in the forecast, process.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Be responsible for all office equipment, phones, computer systems.
- Organize and maintain office functions records/files, mail, phones, equipment, maintenance.
- Provide support for weekly projects and programs by contacting caterers and other vendors.
- Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Personnel and Payroll Administration
- Run Biweekly payroll, maintain employee deductions, assist with administration of 401k.
