Accounting Office Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various computer systems and software. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with financial record keeping, data entry, and clerical tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to contribute to a dynamic accounting department.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close procedures
- Provide support for general accounting tasks as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $17.85 - $21.50 per hour
