Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic accountant that wants to join an very fun, entrepreneur but hard working team. We need some that is a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join and eventually lead the accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, GL entry, and intermediate exposure to financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be confident but not cocky, work well in teams and alone, like to mentor others, and is focused on efficiency. We are always looking to improve! And at the same time like to be around other passionate, hard working, smiling people no matter what curve ball is thrown at us.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the company's general accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required. Prepare monthly financial statements and review trends
- Lead and help implement some margin improvement and cost reduction ideas
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant or in a similar role (junior accountant okay).
- High Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Nice to haves:
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting; Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
