Job description
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and analyses of the Company's financial records. This includes management of the general accounting functions of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax preparation, general ledger, and other facets of accounting.
What You'll Do:
Establish, develop, and improve internal controls and procedures for accounting transactions and budget preparation
Hire, train, develop and motivate a high-performance team through performance management, goal setting and maintaining strong relationships
Oversee the production of periodic financial reports and ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP
Analyze financial data and creates reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties
Maintain accurate financial records and assists with audits and reconciliations as needed
Manage the general ledger accounting functions
Ensure that major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time
You Should Have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
Minimum of 4 years of Accounting experience, including managing a team
Thorough understanding and ability to adhere to GAAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage, lead and motivate others
Superb attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to understand and utilize technology
Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software
Advanced Excel skills
Previous experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite
