Job Description
Accounting Manager who can come in to backfill for review and approval of JEs and account reconciliations and drive some process improvements.
Must haves, minimum qualifications, years of experience required, etc.
7+ years experience in accounting including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Experience implementing process improvements and building robust purpose and procedure documentation.
The Accounting Manager will work would involve review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, including providing review comments to staff on improvements and ensuring completeness and accuracy of data and that documentation is proper and up to the standard of external audit review.
Work may include some preparation of certain journal entries and account reconciliations as well.
Our client would like someone who is versatile and can easily step in when asked whether it is preparation, review, or a project/process improvement.
Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
Strong organizational skills and analytical ability are a must.
Previous experience with SAP is preferred.
Previous experience with Agris is a plus but not required.
Previous experience with Blackline is a plus.
Strong Excel skills are a must.
