Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Funeral Director to join our team and manage our three locations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to grieving families alongside your team of Funeral Directors as well as manage the day to day operations of the business. You will oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements and ensure that services are conducted with dignity and respect.
Duties:
- Lead, manage and hold accountable the team of licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Manage the daily workflow and staffing needs.
- Oversee all facility and auto maintenance to ensure the team is maintaining clean, beautiful facilities and motor fleet.
- Provide oversight to flow of information from Funeral Directors to accounting team.
- Share the daily workload with the team of Funeral Directors.
- Assist families in making decisions regarding burial or cremation- Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, including the selection of caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise
- Coordinate with clergy, cemetery personnel, and other service providers to arrange for funeral services
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, such as death certificates and burial permits
- Assist families in making decisions regarding burial or cremation
- Coordinate visitations, wakes, and memorial services
- Complete embalming and preparation of the deceased for viewing
- Ensure that all funeral services comply with state and federal regulations

Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
