As a Manager with the Mahoney Real Estate Solutions Team, you will perform a variety of services for our clients including:

• Reviewing and signing partnership tax returns or reviewing financial statement audits and cost certifications
• Recognizing, anticipating and resolving complex tax or audit issues and making recommendations
• Real estate consulting to provide guidance and innovative solutions for projects with complicated issues from the pre-development phase to the exit phase
• Mentoring and developing staff

Seasonal overtime may apply depending on arranged work schedule.

Education and Skill Set Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field - MBT is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting
• CPA license
• Experience in Real Estate, Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits is a plus
• Expert understanding of the technical tax rules applicable to partnerships or technical audit skills
• Ability to research complex tax or audit issues, problem solve and provide solutions
• Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Team player with a positive - "can do" approach
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels and various clientele
• Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus

Base pay range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
