Client Accounting Services Director - 100 person CPA firm on the North Shore, MA

If you’re looking to earn as much as possible and don’t care about the environment you work in, or the hours you work, then this is probably not the role for you.

Here, you won’t be on a Big Four salary, but you will have a genuine work-life balance, clear progression mapped out for you and work for a firm that puts people before the bottom line.

You will be running the outsourced accounting and advisory department and managing a small team under you. You will be brought in to support and oversee the growth of the accounting services department.

The department is currently overseen by 2 shareholders who primarily look after audit, and would like to only have responsibility for audit in the future, so there is the opportunity for you to progress and become wholly responsible for this service line.

You will be a working director and have your own client list. As you progress there is the option to oversee and hire people under you for client work.

You will have complete flexibility with your hours and working pattern. Ideally, you’ll work a couple of days from the office, but if you need to leave early to pick up the kids or go to a soccer game, you have total trust to manage your schedule, however works for you. You won’t be working more than 55 hours during busy season, and 36 hours over summer.
