Established apparel company is seeking an energetic Accounting Department Assistant to report directly to the CFO and support the CFO/Controller in any and all daily projects.
This role will have and be responsible for the following:
- General accounting knowledge
- QuickBooks knowledge is a MUST
- Spreadsheet skills and a working knowledge of MS Excel and pivot tables
- Record and process invoices, check requests and reoccurring monthly expenses of all service contracts
- Work with vendor portals to obtain bills to reconcile and pay
- Prepare Bank transfers on approved vendor payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Office administration duties as assigned – simple overseeing tasks
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- Bilingual a plus
- Hours 8:45-4:45 – 5 days in office / full-time permanent role
