Accounting Clerk/Data Entry

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of billing and office tasks. You will run an accounting software programs (SantaCruz) to process business transactions, like customer billing. You will also provide administrative assistance to senior accounting personnel. This position requires you to be in-person Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

 Provide clerical support to the accounting department, contact customer's about denied credit cards and past due invoices.

 Daily billing for customer trips (including calculating wait times and trip extras)

 Accurately entering debits and credits into software application SantaCruz

 Provide assistance and support to company personnel

 Data entry and word processing into spreadsheets

 Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

 Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping tasks.

Skills

 Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

 Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

 Accuracy and attention to detail

 Aptitude for numbers

 Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks

 Data entry and word processing skills

 Well organized

 High school degree, Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

 Knowledge of software program SantaCruz is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
