Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day operations. The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including receipt and general ledger reconciliation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues
- Collaborate with other departments, such as payroll and human resources, to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial information

Experience:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using Quickbooks and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting procedures
