The anticipated wage for this position is between $22-25 per hour. Wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for matching donor-related invoices with appropriate donor records for payment processing, preparing administrative expenses for processing; entering invoices into the computer program for check preparation, preparation of checks; filing paid vouchers; preparing invoices for services rendered by the client; sending invoices to appropriate transplant centers, OPOs, tissue banks, eye banks or other institutions, as appropriate; entering invoices into accounts receivable ledger. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for coding donor and administrative expenses to appropriate expense accounts, placement of supply orders and reconciliation of bank statements. He/She may be assigned other job-related functions, from time to time, by the Controller, Chief Financial Officer or President/CEO.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum, a high school graduate
- Two years of bookkeeping experience.
- Ability to type approximately fifty (50) words per minute.
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to work with figures without transposition
- Ability to work in a sometimes hectic office environment
- Should possess sound judgment and be able to get along with all types of individuals.
- Must have demonstrated professional commitment
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- This is a 3 month contract role, with the possibility of conversion to full-time depending on client need.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
