Accounting Clerk

Position Title: Account Clerk

Work Schedule:

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 08:30 am to 04:30 pm

Lunch Break: 1 Hour

Location: 333 Cortland St. Trenton, NJ 08638

Responsibilities:

Under direction, the Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of routine, repetitive, noncomplex clerical tasks. These tasks involve computing, classifying, verifying, filing, answering phones, and recording numerical data, as well as the reconciliation of accounts, records, and documents to maintain complete sets of financial records. The role includes other related duties as required.

· Effective time management skills, demonstrating a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written directions.

· Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and the ability to calculate averages/percentages.

· Familiarity with various electronic and/or manual recording and information systems (e.g., Edmunds, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vouchers, invoices, and assist with the preparation of periodic reports.

Utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems, such as Edmunds, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.33 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Trenton, NJ 08638: Relocate before starting work (Required)
