Deli Clerk/Cashier

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and display cases with fresh products
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling techniques
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
