Summary of Responsibilities: Provide support to accounting, HR, and manufacturing department within the nonprofit organization. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing AR/AP, payroll and HR duties as assigned. This position will ensure attention to detail to all administrative systems and provide consistent support by being an alternative in the event the sales entry or receptionist is absent. This individual must be a team player who is willing to assist in multiple areas of the organization.
Accounting Support:
1. Process credit card and vendor bills ensuring accuracy and documentation is maintained on a weekly basis.
2. Enter all new employee payroll action requests and manage changes to benefits made in payroll system.
3. Review timecards every week and audit client records in various systems to ensure payroll is approved promptly.
4. Assist customer account management as needed by invoicing and follow-up on payments as necessary, call on past-due account.
5. Occasionally enter sales orders and back up customer service during large volume sales times.
6. Provide support to the Director of Operations with pending builds and purchases as needed.
7. Back up receptionist with incoming call monitoring.
8. Additional accounting tasks as assigned.
HR Support:
1. Support Human Resources by updating employee records.
2. Assist in entering data for yearly audits and reports as needed.
3. Monitor benefits and ensure proper data entry in payroll system.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
