Accounting Clerk

Altus Receivables Management is seeking an Accounting Clerk as we continue to grow our team! This position communicates with collectors and sales reps regarding payments received by Altus. The clerk must pay attention to detail and have strong interpersonal communication skills. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to be self-motivated.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify cases that payments received are paying and post timely
• Identify and issue refunds on client overpayments timely
• Review correspondence and respond in a timely manner.
• Be punctual, reliable, and meet all work scheduling requirements.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Perform other related activities as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Scan supporting documentation to bank batches in Salesforce

Job Requirements:

• AR and/or AP experience
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry and strong computer skills
• Basic Math and Writing skills
• SalesForce.com experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be goal oriented
• Ability to deescalate adverse situations
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary is $35,000 per year
