Job Description
SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for preparing, researching, and maintaining detailed reconciliations for First United Financial Services business units.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Assist with general ledger reconciliations and account research.
• Assist with AR/AP functions for business unit.
• Prepare and post required journal entries to the general ledger.
• Assist with special projects and data preparation

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs other duties as requested by Manager.
• Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
• Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
• Dresses professionally.
• Recommends methods to improve the department efficiency.

Education and Work Experience

• Working experience in accounting preferred, but not required.

• Working experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Technical/Functional Competencies

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
