Accounting Clerk

Worldwide Logistics Inc. is looking for an Accounting Clerk to work out of our Paramus, NJ office. The person selected for this role will be responsible for maintaining, and reviewing company books, making the information from the operational and accounting system consistent. The position reports to the US Accounting Manager and will also be interacting with internal and external customers as well with a variety of providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Posting of sales invoices and purchase invoices.

· Manage Operational system manual interphase to the ERP.

· Post bank transactions and make journal Entries.

· Prepare payments and set up wire transfers.

· Posting of overhead expenses.

· Participation in month-end closing following procedures set.

· Cooperation with local GM on accounting and administrative issues.

· Cooperation with other offices within the WWL Group.

· Other ad hoc tasks depend on company needs.

· Ensuring compliance with financial regulations/ensuring team members comply with regulations.

· Monitoring cash flow/cash flows.

· Overseeing accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· At least one year of experience in the accounting field (PnL, Balance Sheet, and Reporting).

· Studies in accounting or similar.

· Knowledge of accounting software.

· Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

· Minimal knowledge of Excel

Experience:

• Accounting Clerk: 1 year (Required)
• Oracle/NetSuite: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)
