Job Description
Aspire Staffing Group is partnering with our client to hire an Accounting Clerk in the Huntingdon Valley area. This is a long-term contract assignment in which you will be joining a dynamic industry leader. You will be working directly with all levels of management and across departmental projects. Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable
- Manage travel and expense
- Manage credit card payments and reconciliation
- Posting to journal as needed
- Fixed Assets
- Working with depreciation schedule and simple journal entries
- Collections
- Updating and working off of aging report
- Sending emails and making calls to clients as needed
- Receiving and posting payments to the journal as needed
Additional basic accounting activities as needed
Requirements:
• Community college/Associates degree
• 1+ year experience
• Positive attitude, with energy, passion, quick learner, detail-oriented
• Intermediate Excel
• No specific software requirements
• 5 days a week on site
