`Job description – ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This is a high volume, fast-paced environment that caters to the self-starting candidate with a strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and produce consistent and accurate results.
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in plumbing a plus

REQUIRMENTS:

• Proficient in QuickBooks - Required
• Knowledge of “Service Titan” platform is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable including but not limited to:
• Assist with processing invoices/accounts for collections and help the collection agency with any requests they may have. Get updates from them regularly on the progress of the files they are handling.
• Help A/R with residential aging and statements
• Execute AR/AP reporting for review by Accounting Manager
• Assist with in-bound payment calls.
• Enter and process company bills daily and weekly.
• Review and process vendor statements monthly.
• Filing and scanning as needed
• Help the accounting manager with any other assignments that may be needed.
• Monday – Friday – 30 hours/week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
