Compensation: $55-67k dependent on applicable experience.

Addison Group has a client located in St. Louis Park/Hopkins area who is actively looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 2+ years working as a Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper. The ideal candidates will have previously processed Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, coding invoices and light payroll with intermediate Excel skills. This full-time Accounting Assistant position a salary ranging from $55-67k annually.

Responsibilities include:

• Heavy data entry of AP/AR invoices into an ERP system
• Assist with all billing and vendor issues
• Assist in month end close process and other general accounting responsibilities
• Cash application, documentation of AR/Billing activities, aging reports, and month end close activities
• Ability to take direction well from management regarding excel projects as assigned.
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize projects and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

· Intermediate Excel

· 2 years working in an Accounting Assistant role

· Experience working with Great Plains, JDE, Oracle, or QuickBooks

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk

· Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
