Position: Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
Record and update financial data, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Invoice Processing:
Process and verify invoices for goods and services.
Ensure accurate coding of expenses and adherence to company policies.
Accounts Payable:
Assist in the accounts payable process, including vendor payments and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payables.
Accounts Receivable:
Support the accounts receivable function, tracking and recording customer payments.
Assist in the preparation of customer invoices.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements for management review.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Communication:
Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish.
Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
