Position: Accounting Assistant
Reports to: Controller
Department: Accounting
Status: Full-time– Non-exempt
As an Accounting Assistant at GrayWolf, you will play an important role in the accounting department by supporting the project accounting team by performing administrative functions and having the ability to perform assigned activities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Accountabilities & Deliverables
- Enter subcontracts and subcontract change orders in accounting system
- Approve/code subcontract invoices
- Enter updates from the Project estimated cost at completion forms in accounting system
- Prepare weekly shop and field update files
- Enter shop and field updates in accounting system
- Enter monthly AR billings for projects in accounting system
- Verify all AR billings for projects are entered by month-end
- Prepare and enter PM time entry in accounting system
- Prepare and enter in-house equipment entry in accounting system
- Assist project and staff accountants as needed

Position will require the frequent use and knowledge of MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics A/X
- Work Environment
Position is full-time in office and will potentially require longer hours during close week given DBM is a public company and there are deadlines.
