We are hiring a part-time or full-time Accounting Assistant/Coordinator!
The Accounting Coordinator supports the Director of Finance and Human Resources to ensure accurate and timely internal reporting, financial management and control. They are responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
· Process invoices with appropriate authorization, proper accounts and propriety.
· Verifies sales tax exemption used for large purchases.
· Prepares and delivers payments to vendors via check/credit card/electronic transfers.
· Reviews credit card statement/receipts for propriety and accounting distribution.
· Reviews and maintains Vendor credit accounts.
· Prepares Insurance/Monthly allowance sheets for payment.
· Pay all purchase orders and DRL vouchers.
· Review all DRL ledgers, petty cash vouchers, and credit card receipts transmittals monthly.
· Make sure all Ranch vehicles are listed on insurance.
· Key in master ledgers at the end of the month.
Accounts Receivable
· Records and deposits incoming checks to appropriate accounts and prints receipts.
· Complete all worksheets and reports.
· Pick up mail, sort and deliver to appropriate person.
Education/Knowledge/Experience:
· High School diploma required.
-Accounting Degree is a plus.
· Good working knowledge of Account Payable and Account Receivable.
- Must have bookkeeping experience.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Able to multi-task.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with MIP/Abila Software a plus.
