SalaryWe are looking for an Accounting Assistant, to join our team, performing daily accounting tasks. Accounting responsibilities include, but not limited to, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling company statements. You will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions. You must have a minimum of 2 year prior accounting experience and references are required.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile company statements and identify discrepancies
- Update transactions
- Prepare bank deposits
- Ordering office supplies (for 2 location)
- Accounts Payable
- Collect cash
- Cutting checks
- Filing & Scanning
- Back up the Receptionist
- Audit company outstanding transactions
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Detailed oriented with problem solving skills
- Organization skills (multitasking & prioritizing)
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to work individually or as a group
- Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrate a desire to assist
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
