Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex journal entries for the general ledger system on a monthly basis.
• Analyze general ledger and accrual accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Collect and analyze financial data to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assist in year-end closings and prepare long-term and short-term financial statements.
• Provide expertise and guidance on financial accounting procedures to team members.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans.
• Coordinate monthly financial meetings and consolidation reports.
• Maintain and apply internal controls.
• Prepare advanced financial reports and complete analytical projects.
• Supervise other departmental staff as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent, or High School Diploma/GED with relevant work experience.
• Five years of relevant work experience in addition to educational requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of Accountant experience, with at least 3 years in a mid to senior-level role, including experience with the full Accounting Close process and Financial Statement Preparation.
• Direct hands-on experience in listed tasks/activities.
• Experience in mid to large/distributed corporate environments.
• Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Comfortable presenting financial results to Senior Leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training, and leading teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
