Accountant - Business Management & Family Office

Citrin Cooperman is seeking Entry Level Staff for our Business Management & Family Office department for the firm’s Class of 2024 to join us in November 2024. We are a growing, nationally recognized professional services firm with over 400 partners and 2,400 total professionals in 25 offices. The firm was founded in 1979 by Joel Cooperman and Niles Citrin and today is the 25th largest accounting and consulting firm in the United States,and third among mid-Atlantic firms. Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Support and assist the Managers and Seniors on assigned clients
• Communicate effectively with clients and client team members
• Prepare Bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly cash basis financial reports and/or cash flow reports
• Pay client bills
• Credit Card expense analysis for proper coding
• Update performance registers
• Resolve vendor issues
• Update billing worksheets
• Process medical claims
• Administrative Duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or in progress with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2024
• Prior accounting or Business Management internship experience preferred
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and shift focus as needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Multi-tasker
• Knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Datafaction a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

For positions in California, the salary range is $72,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
