Job Summary: We're seeking an Accountant to oversee our financial operations with precision and expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of GAAP principles are essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Objectives and responsibilities of this role:

• Day-to-day accounts payable invoice management.
• Record and reconcile company credit card charges.
• Record and reconcile payroll entries using Paylocity.
• Record and reconcile employee benefits.
• Some accounts receivable and other reconciliations as needed.
• Budget tracking and cash forecasting.
• Create spreadsheets and improve existing spreadsheets.
• Recording and reconciliation of intercompany charges.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with multiple entities and intercompany transactions and reconciliations is desirable
• Experience with NetSuite software is desirable, but not required
• Payroll experience and/or experience with Paylocity with time tracking is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and thorough with focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work- and collaborate -with other members of the accounting, supply chain, and production teams
• Computer literacy including Excel and Word
• Team mind set and willingness to step in and perform a variety of tasks as needed
