Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, and regulatory reporting. Duties: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform general ledger accounting activities, such as journal entries and general ledger reconciliation - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts - Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment disbursement - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards - Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes - Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and tax filings - Provide support during external audits Skills: - Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and variances - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis - Solid understanding of budgeting processes and financial forecasting - Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel) - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time.
