Join an established - and growing - organization as Kaleidoscope Family Solutions (KFS) looks for its newest addition to the team- an Admissions Coordinator. This position is an integral part of the company and of the Kaleidoscope Family Solutions mission. Primarily, this position is responsible for conducting all intakes for the program. Intakes could take place in the community and in the homes of potential clients. Some intakes may be done remotely. A master's degree is required. This is a GREAT opportunity for students pursuing licensure!
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for reviewing, triaging, and responding to referrals received within 24 hours.
• Tasked with implementing Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) policies and procedures.
• Manage the MABHA reporting data on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Responsible for maintaining the IHT waitlist and scheduling intake appointments.
• Utilize clinical judgment and expertise to conduct intakes, establish initial clinical treatment goals, and obtain initial insurance authorization for services.
• Work in partnership with colleagues and served families to establish positive, trusting relationships, and consistent clear communication.
• Utilize effective problem solving skills and act as a model/mentor for others in demonstrating professional ethics, standards, and practices.
• Maintain partnership with various referral sources throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Master's Degree in a clinical field
• Exceptional communication and organization skills.
• Self-motivated and independent worker
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Proficient technical/personal computer skills are essential skill i.e., MS Word and Excel
