VitalCheck Wellness is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day activities of all aspects of accounting and finance, and monitoring KPI's.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate preparation and issuance of monthly and annual financial statements
• Manage the processing of invoices, setting up vendors, obtaining vendor W-9s and Vendor Profile information, interacting with customers regarding invoices and payment status, reconciling credit card charges, and preparing A/P reports
• Assist with payroll processing, including payroll accruals
• Prepare journal entries, bank statement reconciliation, annual audits, and other ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
• Prepare annual budget and forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Driven by a sense of urgency and results orientation
• Strong problem solving, creative intellect, sound judgment and good decision making based on relevant, accurate, timely analyses
• Strong proficiency in NetSuite
• Experience with cost accounting, budgeting, A/P, A/R, payroll and forecasting
• Ability to develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage multiple projects or duties
• Must be located in Greater New York Metro area and reliably commute to Manhattan office as needed.
