Accountant

Bay Business Group is a successful and people-focused Falls Church, VA accounting firm. We have a history of growth and of taking care of our people, with staff tenure averaging 8 years. We specialize in serving small businesses and non-profit organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are growing and ready to hire! We are looking for new accountants to join our growing organization. Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent communication are necessary qualifications for this position, as well as client service and accounting experience. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable and committed to meeting deadlines.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years Accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping experience. College degree required.
• Proficiency in QB or other accounting software
• Team oriented person who focuses on details
• Experience managing multiple clients
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with their clients and teammates
• Run accounts receivable, payables and maintain the general ledger
• Assist with client projects
