Job Description
Our client is the largest DC motor supplier searching for an outgoing, professional, detail-oriented account manager. The ideal candidate will have bachelor degree, paired with exceptional interpersonal skills and an enterprising attitude. The position will involve travel, some international. Experience or substantial knowledge with DC motors required This is an account management role, handling business development with existing customers, expanding into the various industries such as medical, robotics and automotive, and growing customer relationships. Salary range is between $75K to $90K based upon experience, plus bonus, full benefits, and 401K matching.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company goals
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers' Purchasing and Engineering teams through various communication channels.
- Efficiently use company resources to achieve sales objectives.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company's product portfolio and technical specifications after training.
- Prepare and deliver compelling corporate and technical presentations to potential clients.
- Analyze customer requirements and propose suitable motor solutions.
- Conduct effective commercial negotiations and review contracts with customers' purchasing staff.
- Research market trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights within the department.
- Investigate competitors' and customers' product strategies.
- Attend trade shows and participate in supplier conferences to stay informed about industry trends.
- Advocate for customers by collaborating with Management, Operations, and Quality departments when necessary.
- Maintain detailed customer program information in the CRM system.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts for assigned customers.
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels to prevent overstock or understock situations.
- Promptly address accounts in arrears using established contacts.

- Bachelor Degree
- At least two years of experience in automotive, medical devices, robotics sales.
