ALS is a leading logistics and supply chain management company committed to excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Freight Audit and Claims Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable (L.M.A.):

  • Ensure each direct report has clear job descriptions and KPIs upon starting, with weekly updates.
  • Develop annual role books and conduct quarterly meetings for direct reports, including compensation reviews and growth plans.
  • Maintain consistent communication and recognition of performance while addressing any issues promptly.

Freight Audit & Pay Product Owner:

  • Oversee internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate payment disbursement to carrier partners.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for ALS FBAP in internal and external discussions, supporting new opportunity pursuits.

Lead FBAP Onboarding and Implementation for New Clients:

  • Collaborate with Implementation, Solution, and Account teams to develop scalable and supportable FBAP workflows during new client setup.
  • Ensure understanding of needs from all parties involved and develop solutions that meet those needs while documenting and sharing scope of works and solution flows.
  • Escalate and address any contractual risks or out-of-scope activities during implementation.

Owner of Freight Pay Partner Relationship and Solution:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our outsourced vendor, ensuring regular business reviews are conducted.
  • Ensure partner meets ALS KPIs and expectations, escalating and addressing issues promptly.
  • Work with partner to drive mutually beneficial partnerships and ensure industry-standard capabilities and service.

Process Owner for FBAP:

  • Design and adjust processes as necessary, assigning Core Process Managers and overseeing performance.
  • Decide on relevant KPIs for Core Process, ensuring documentation and training for all applicable parties.
  • Lead an annual process check-in rock to ensure effectiveness, addressing any scope or process creep immediately.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Freight Audit, claims management, or logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and hold teams accountable for performance and adherence to processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to represent the company as a subject matter expert.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technologies, including transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office SuiteTop of Form
