Overview:
Thriving digital media marketing company, with a strong people culture, is seeking an energetic, highly motivated Account Manager who will develop and manage digital marketing campaigns for our clients. This client facing position is 100% remote.
Job Description:
Designs and recommends marketing programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies for each account/prospect. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase sales volume and profit. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Solicit prospective clients and maintain existing clients. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Some degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project/campaign management, from start to finish
- Support Account Director with case submissions, data checks, ad checks, and campaign reporting
- Complete follow-thru on all delegated projects.
- Act as the liaison between Account Directors, graphic designers, digital specialists, and production staff
- Campaign set up and daily monitoring within social, search, display and email platforms.
- Proposal preparation
- Consumer demographic, database searches, & analysis
- Marketing campaign development including: managing client budget, ad copy, and online marketing
- Provide strategic direction to client across traditional and digital campaigns including media mix recommendations, identifying, and tracking KPIs, etc.
- Develop and deliver progress reports and required documentation (i.e. forecast, ROI, campaign results, and sales strategy)
- Liaise with operations manager, team members, and other departments on an ongoing basis
- Resolve client issues, both internally and externally
- Maintaining Client Satisfaction
- Procure and maintain client business
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Develop best practices and tools for sales execution and management.
- Manage Account Executives and work at the direction of the Account Director
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in the area of specialty and at least 2 years of experience in marketing with demonstrated performance in meeting sales objectives
- Strong familiarity with client management software, Salesforce a plus.
- Competent and proficient understanding of all MS office software; must be agile in using PowerPoint for client decks, and excel for client reporting & analytics
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Reacts to client adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Flexible during times of change
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, contractors, and other departments.
- Ability to defuse tension among sales team, should it arise.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Other Desirable Skills:
- Experience with localized targeted campaigns in vertical markets such as health clubs and restaurants
- Previous marketing experience in the health club industry and/or franchise business models
- Have built omni-channel marketing campaigns that combine direct mail with additional digital touch points such as email and display ads
