Account Manager Trainee

Department: Sales Team

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Description: Are you ambitious and a quick study? Do you thrive on acquiring new skills and embracing challenges? Leon's Signs is seeking an Account Manager trainee to join our team and support the fabrication and installation of signs in the B2B industry. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and an enthusiastic commitment to taking care of our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Achieve revenue targets by applying effective sales tactics
• Build and nurture customer relationships, including some work required outside of normal business hours
• Utilize marketing and sales tools to close prospective clients, including documenting customer contact and robust after-the-sale follow-up
• Develop and maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline
• Survey locations using tools and technology to provide accurate dimensions to estimating and fabricating teams
• Represent the company at community and business events, including with the Electronic Message Center display trailer

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to represent the company positively
• Ability to learn and communicate product features, values, and benefits within a sales approach
• Strong communication skills, including spoken, written, and active listening skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the market area (all of East Texas and Shreveport – company vehicle provided)
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Physical ability to connect the Electronic Message Center trailer to a vehicle and safely pull a trailer
• Familiarity with skilled trades is preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
