Because of our continued expansion and success, we are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Account Manager that expresses an energetic personality to mirror our exotic, luxury and standard vehicle fleet.

Essential job duties:

Sales & Account Portfolio Development

  • Perform research to identify and reach out to prospective clients
  • Think outside the box and strategize to increase likelihood of securing new accounts or contacts within existing accounts
  • Regularly perform sales calls, follow-ups and send intro emails
  • Schedule 1-2 client meetings per month to develop and strengthen relationships
  • Ensure client relationships are well-maintained and in good standing by keeping in touch via telephone, e-mail and personal visits on a regular basis
  • Develop a thorough understanding of your specific portfolio discipline (i.e. retail training, event marketing, engineering, technical development, PR, media, market research, etc.) by understanding their request patterns, program missions, offices, hours and relationships of the team as a whole
  • Generate sales using existing and new client networks
  • Make vigorous effort to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals

Managing Client Requests

  • Provide clients with full list of services/capabilities and make effort to upsell each incoming request
  • Understand scope of the client’s request and program design to ensure all elements are satisfied
  • Provide solutions when requests seem conflicting
    • Logistics
    • Market reality vs. vehicle availability
    • Provide alternatives and options when necessary
  • Ensure client requests are feasible by conducting “pre-research” and filtering information
  • Work closely with production team to ensure all elements of clients’ requests are addressed
  • Employ a rule of submitting a bid to clients within 48 hours of initial request
  • Foster open communication with clients through entire duration of programs

Administrative Duties

  • Attend weekly team meetings prepared with updates and relevant notes
  • Maintain current revenue records to track client activity and trends
  • Accurately audit projects upon completion and ensure client invoices are submitted in timely manner
  • Organize and maintain relevant project files such as receipts, quotes, invoices and other associated documents

Industry Knowledge

  • Remain current with industry trends and within your specific portfolio; be prepared to share with the team by reading automotive journals, publications, blogs, etc.
  • Attend at least two auto shows or other relevant industry/networking events per year

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of sales or account management within corporate environment
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and fundamentals
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong internet and research skills
  • Sales, customer service and automotive industry experience is highly preferred
  • Great at multitasking with extreme attention to detail and well-organized
  • Pass background check, inclusive of pre-employment drug test
  • Clean driving record (no more than one violation, DUI, reckless driving, or any other serious driving offenses in the last three years)
  • Minimum 3 years of licensed driving history

    Benefits:

    • Eligible for health benefits (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance) the 1st of the following month from hire date
    • After six months of employment, eligible to participate in our retirement plans (401k, Roth 401k and ESOP)
    • Company matches 100% of employee contribution, up to 3%, then matches 50% of the 4th and 5th percentage
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave

    Compensation:

    • $72,000 to $90,000 plus commission
    • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
