The Senior BI & Analytics Developer will be responsible for supporting the organization through the
development, implementation, and support of operational and financial reporting solutions. Candidate will
be involved in the development of data warehouse/BI solutions from inception to implementation. This
person will be an integral part of a team tasked with identifying, proposing, and implementing data
analysis and reporting solutions along with process improvements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions including interactive dashboards,
reports, and KPI scorecards.
Design, deploy, and administer business analytics/business intelligence (BI) solutions across
organization.
Develop data models using operational and financial data from multiple sources.
Ensure data, reports, dashboards, and KPIs are updated and delivered timely and accurately.
Perform routine maintenance, audit, and review of system data including ensuring data
optimization and data integrity.
Partner with end-users to gather and translate requirements and provide recommendations.
Identify and propose system solutions and improvements to existing software programs as
necessary.
Actively support the reporting requirements including development and maintenance throughout
ERP system upgrade/conversion.
Troubleshoot and provide data analytics support for internal customers as needed including ad
hoc data requests.
Document data models and reporting procedures.
Assist the team in ensuring that users receive proper systems training and documentation.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information systems, business, or
equivalent work experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience leading, developing, deploying and maintaining data warehousing,
business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
3+ years of experience with data visualization solutions including PowerBI or Tableau and using
data manipulation languages (DAX, MDX).
Proficiency developing, designing, and maintaining corporate KPI reporting and analytics
solutions.
Ability to develop permanent, automated, ongoing analytics solutions as well as conduct specific
ad hoc analysis.
Proficiency in SQL database design, querying, and programming including SSRS/SSIS/SSAS.
High level of expertise in MS Excel. Experience with PowerQuery, pivot tables, and utilization of
outside data sources is required.
Strong understanding of project, ERP, and financial system data.
Familiarity with government contract reporting and security requirements is a plus.
US Citizenship is a requirement.
